OIM Ghana has been a great support to many people in this country through its partners both local and abroad. The people who have benefited from OIM mission trips are widows, orphanage homes, local churches, schools, and children in the communities. We can’t share all the impact stories OIM has contributed with its partners. We want to share few of the impact stories.
On 2nd January 2023, OIM Ghana organized its 4th edition of the Ghana Kidz Dance competition at Bubiashie Ayigbe Town. A little girl by the name Little Praise who is physically challenged joined the competition and won the 1st position. She was crowned the winner of the competition. She received a $100 cash prize reward as 1st winner. A few days after the dancing competition, an evangelist in the USA by the name Rolanda Stevenson contacted the CEO OF OIM and paid 1 whole year of tuition fees to support Little Praise’s education. She has promised to do more to help her education.
After the competition, little praise family came to Frederick Asiedu, the CEO of OIM concerning the surgery of their daughter. A few weeks later, Little Praise was taken to the hospital to correct the legs at St. Anthony’s Hospital in the Volta region. OIM team and partners stood with the family and gave financial assistance to help correct the legs. These are pictures of the dance completion and also pictures from the hospital.

Story from a single mother in Ghana
My name is Sabina Quainoo. A single mother of four. I’m a beneficiary of the partnerships of OIM Ghana. In January, the CEO of OIM Ghana gave my last born exposure on social media and solicited support for my last born whose name is Kelvin Mensah. Kelvin Mensah was of age to start school but due to lack of funds, he was still at home until OIM Ghana and its partners in USA and UK took the burden upon themselves to take my son to school.
It didn’t end there. Rev Joycelyn Dankwah from the UK blessed me with the capital to start a business. OIM Ghana and his partners have put a smile on my face and that of others.

Kwame is a disabled young man who lives with his dad in Accra, Ghana. Kwame moves around his daily activities with the support of a wheelchair. Kwame’s wheelchair was in very bad shape and needed to be replaced. So on 27th March 2023, the CEO of OIM Ghana raised enough funds to support Kwame. The money was able to purchase two wheelchairs and also supported Kwame’s business with an amount of two thousand (2000) Ghana cedis. One wheelchair was given to Kwame and the other wheelchair was given to a disabled pastor. The disabled pastor also received an undisclosed amount of money.
